Kimberly Chadwick attended The Ohio State University and The University of Maryland, University College and graduated in 1997 with a degree in journalism. She immediately went onto law school at The George Mason School of Law and received her Juris Doctorate cum laude in 2001 while working full-time and having her first child in her last year of school. She is a member of the state and federal bars in Virginia and the District of Columbia as well as the State Bar of Michigan. She is also a member of the Fairfax and Prince William County bar associations.
Kimberly spent 15 years working at a small civil litigation firm in Fairfax, Virginia. She began as the receptionist while still in college and thereafter moved up to positions as a legal secretary, law clerk, associate and partner.
In 2008, Kimberly started her own firm as a sole practitioner and frequently appears in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Courts and Circuit Courts of Fairfax, Fauquier, Loudoun, Rappahanock and Prince William Counties. She has also argued before the Virginia Court of Appeals and the Virginia Supreme Court.
She holds certifications as a Guardian Ad Litem, Mediator and Family Law Mediator. Kimberly is the primary mediator, but for parties wishing to conduct co-mediation that includes a male perspective, Steve Chadwick is also available to participate in the process.
Steve graduated with a degree in engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology in 1996. He has over 20 years experience as a design and test engineer for major U.S. defense contractors.
Four years ago, Steve answered God’s call to become to a Stephen Minister through his church. After completing over 50 hours of training, he was commissioned and now volunteers his time to provide confidential one-on-one Christian Care to individuals experiencing a crisis or difficulty.
